Loads of Leeds United fans loved captain Liam Cooper’s tweet about life-long Whites supporter Ken Foster, who sadly passed away aged 72 recently (@LiamCooper_).
He was a season ticket holder at Elland Road for more than 50 years and the former Chesterfield defender asked supporters if they would all participate in a round of applause in the 72nd minute of their upcoming home match against Huddersfield Town in his memory.
Cooper’s message has had a very positive response, with former Leeds striker and current Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp even replying and praising the 28-year-old.

Many Whites fans also gave Cooper plenty of credit for his message, with one describing him as a “class act.” Meanwhile, members of Ken’s family also responded to thank the Scottish international for his post, saying that it means a lot to them.
