Replying to a clip from LUTV via Twitter, many Leeds United supporters have been raving over the quality of winger Jack Harrison after his brilliant solo run unluckily ended in him striking the crossbar – with one fan claiming he will ‘play for England‘.
Harrison, who has started 37 Championship games for the Whites this season, scoring five goals and assisting seven others for Marcelo Bielsa’s side (WhoScored), is arguably key to Leeds’ promotion hopes – especially when taking into account the quality on display in this clip. The Englishman, looking to extend United’s 2-0 lead over Yorkshire-rivals Huddersfield, dribbled the ball forward despite being surrounded by many Terriers players – improvising an impressive shot on the turn from just outside the penalty area which unluckily hammered the crossbar.
Harrison also garnered the highest SofaScore rating out of any Leeds player that afternoon (7.9), whilst also completing 3/3 long balls and half of his dribble attempts. As a result, many supporters have flocked to hail the ‘astounding’ youngster – find all of their best comments down below.
I called it a few weeks ago but I’ll go public now. Jack Harrison will play for England.

Rate of development has been astounding, been very good recently just when we needed it. If he keeps developing (hopefully with us in the Prem) will be some player and worth some money!
