Responding to a clip posted by Leeds United’s official account, many Whites fans have been in awe over a piece of skill from attacking midfielder Pablo Hernandez – with the Spaniard shown nutmegging a Huddersfield player before having a shot at goal.
Hernandez, who has started 25 Championship games for Leeds this season, scoring six goals and assisting six others (WhoScored), is arguably key to Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s promotion hopes this season – with one fan wishing his side had acquired the former Swansea man ‘ten years ago’ whilst raving over the ‘class’ footage. The 34-year-old, who could arguably be reaching the twilight stage of his career, displayed his quality when tightly marked just inside the penalty area – quickly and sharply creating space by sliding a nutmeg through a Terriers defender before unluckily blasting a low drive against an opposition player.
This piece of skill, since Leeds’ 2-0 victory over Huddersfield, has attracted due praise from supporters – find all of their best comments down below.
