Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that left-back Barry Douglas is a doubt for their upcoming fixture against Queens Park Rangers with a knee problem (via @Phil_Hay).
The former Wolves man was a notable absentee from the Whites matchday squad against Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday (BBC Sport), and it appears that he could be set to miss out once again when they welcome the Londoners to Elland Road.

It has been a frustrating campaign so far for the Scot, who has rarely played in the league. He was in the starting line-up for their first three fixtures of the season, but he has since failed to start in any of the last 11 (via Transfermarkt).
In truth he hasn’t really lived up to expectations at Elland Road, with a string of injuries curtailing his Leeds career.
He came with a reputation as an attacking left-back who had just scored five goals and provided 14 assists for Wolves in the 17/18 Championship season (Transfermarkt), but he managed to start just 21 of Leeds’ 46 league matches last term due to injury and in that time scored no goal and provided just five assists (Transfermarkt).
Now his problems appear to be halting his progress this year, and it is fair to say that most Whites supporters aren’t surprised to hear that he is once again struggling for fitness.
Here is how some fans reacted on Twitter after hearing Douglas could miss their next match through injury…
