Former Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen took the time to leave a congratulatory message on Twitter for both Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas following the club’s announcement that both men had signed new deals with the club.

The 46-year-old recently became the manager of Belgium second-tier outfit Saint Gilloise after a disappointing spell at Elland Road, but it would seem that he still keeps tabs on what happens at his former club.
He managed just 35 matches during his time in Yorkshire, having won 16 and drawn five, but he ultimately lost too many games (14) in the six months or so he had at the helm (Transfermarkt).
Although things did not go to plan for him, it would seem many of the Leeds faithful still have some positive opinions of their former manager and decided to praise Christiansen’s reaction to the club’s announcement.
