Leeds United: Fans roast Frazier Campbell verdict on ‘special’ Yorkshire derby

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Huddersfield Town TV via the Yorkshire Evening Post, Terriers striker Frazier Campbell has insisted that his side need ‘no motivation‘ for Saturday’s derby clash – with many Leeds fans since coming out to roast the ex-Sunderland striker on Twitter.

Campbell, who also scored 33 goals and assisted 20 others over 114 appearances for Hull City (Transfermarkt), is a Huddersfield-born player who claims to have Whites, Town and Bradford City fans throughout his family – with the forward needing no motivation for Saturday’s Yorkshire derby.

Huddersfield, who are currently languishing just four points off the drop zone in 17th, would benefit greatly from a victory at Elland Road, with the side starting to gain momentum in their bid to avoid relegation – winning their last two games whilst scoring six goals. Leeds, however, could take one step further in securing their potential automatic promotion hopes.

Regardless of the clash’s significance, many Leeds fans have flocked to roast Campbell’s verdict that the encounter is ‘special‘ – with one fan claiming that his club have always ‘been obsessed with Leeds‘. Here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
