Whilst Leeds United fans would have likely been upset and angry with what they saw from their side against Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening, it seems many on social media were left seething with Ezgjan Alioski’s performance more than other individuals that were on the pitch.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites’ poor form continued at the hands of the Tricky Trees as goals from Sammy Ameobi and Tyler Walker were enough to send them back to Elland Road with their automatic promotion hopes in a rather precarious position (Sky Sports).
Indeed, Alioski came in for an untold amount of criticism on Twitter following the final whistle with many of the club’s faithful venting their fury at the North Macedonia international. When taking a look at his own individual match data (via WhoScored), it may have seemed a little difficult for many of them to have had a reason to slam the versatile player.
The 27-year-old had three attempts at goal but failed to work the opposition’s ‘keeper, played two key passes, made six total tackles, one interception and three clearances before being substituted around the 70th-minute mark (WhoScored).
Some supporters, though, decided to call Alioski a ‘liability’ whilst others felt he has been out of form for a while and want Bielsa to drop him from the side in the near future.

Exactly. Casillas cost us last season and has made errors this season. Meisler should be in. Same side every week, same tactics, won’t give the lads a chance, Alioski is a liability- sick of his stubborn stance- he has blown it again!
