Leeds United fans still believe Marcelo Bielsa won’t be using Eddie Nketiah any time soon, despite witnessing him score a goal whilst in action for the England Under-21s on Friday.

The club posted a video showing the Arsenal loanee slotting home from the penalty spot as the Young Lions managed to secure themselves a 2-2 draw against Slovenia.
However, fans did not appear to feel too encouraged by it as many felt that Bielsa still would not be prepared to use the youngster over Patrick Bamford in the upcoming fixtures once the Championship returns.
Indeed, Nketiah has had to be patient for his opportunities for the Whites, as he has made just eight appearances across all competitions so far (despite scoring four goals), with just two starts in the EFL Cup and none in the league (per Transfermarkt).
A recent report by Football Insider has claimed that the 20-year-old could also be handed an extended wait for his first-team start as well, with Bielsa understood to remain in favour of Bamford moving forward for the time being.
Fans have taken to Twitter to call for the Arsenal man to play from the start, however many do not believe his latest performance for England’s Under-21s will have helped his cause one bit.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Doesn’t matter
Could’ve scored a hatrick and he still wouldn’t get a start— Bielsa Ball (@BallBielsa) October 11, 2019
Let’s keep him on bench a bit more then

Cant see Bielsa ever starting him
— Dominic Bateman (@Bateeey) October 11, 2019
Will still be sat on the bench next game
— Martin (@Miggymartin17) October 11, 2019
Could bag a hat trick every game and bielsa would still choose to play bamford up top.

What does Nketiah have to do to get a start?

Keep him on bench lads. It’s where he’s dangerous
