Leeds United: Fans tear into Ezgjan Alioski on Twitter

A number of Leeds United fans have torn into Ezgjan Alioski on Twitter for his latest performance against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side blew a great opportunity to go two points clear at the top of the Championship after West Bromwich Albion were held to a 2-2 draw by Charlton Athletic after being beaten by their fierce Yorkshire rivals.

Things looked to be heading for a draw, however a moment of madness ensued in the final few minutes when Jacob Murphy and Adthe Nuhiu both struck late to give the Owls all three points in a 2-0 victory.

Indeed, whilst the Leeds faithful would have been infuriated with the defeat, many on Twitter appeared to have been left seething with the performance of Alioski.

A number of supporters had described the North Macedonia international as a liability whilst others had claimed he was no longer good enough for them and demanded that Bielsa looked at other options.

Don’t bring Alioski on then simple!! Never looked like conceding all year with Douglas in side, soon as that moron came on we had no left back and they scored from that side, why make football harder than it has to be, I think Bielsa is great, but he gets it wrong alot.
