Many Leeds United fans were left unimpressed with what they saw from Helder Costa on Saturday afternoon after witnessing their side fall to Sheffield Wednesday.
The Whites were on the wrong end of a 2-0 defeat at Elland Road as they Marcelo Bielsa saw his side collapse in the dying moments of the game when Jacob Murphy and Adthe Nuhiu smashed the ball past Kiko Casilla (BBC).
In what would have been a hugely disappointing 90 minutes for those in the stands, it would seem many of the club’s faithful were infuriated with what they saw from Costa – or perhaps what they did not see from the former Portugal international.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers winger, who will turn his loan spell with Leeds into a permanent move in the summer, failed to attract much positivity on Twitter with many slamming his latest showing for the Whites.
Some stated that he was hugely ineffective whilst one supporter had claimed he was a “passenger” whereas another could not believe how “average” he had been in the Championship.
