Leeds United: Helder Costa footage has fans drooling

Footage from Leeds United’s training ground Thorp Arch of Helder Costa scoring a volley has excited fans ahead of a possible Championship restart.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side currently sit top of the Championship table and on the verge of an automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The Argentine coach has masterminded his side to bounce back after a disappointing play-off semi-final defeat to Derby County last season.

Consistent form from his players have allowed Bielsa a fairly comfortable route to the top of England’s second flight and anticipation is now growing amongst players and the club’s fans over a return to top-flight football next season.

One of those players to have played their part is Helder Costa, who is on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Netting three goals and gaining three assists in his 37 league appearances, the Portuguese winger has been preparing for the return of the 2019/2020 season as seen below in a latest club post.

Costa’s loan move will be made into a permanent one this summer after Leeds agreed a £15m deal with Wolves.

The 26-year-old and his teammates will eagerly anticipating an announcement from league officials over the Championship’s return after the Premier League announced they are returning on June 17.
