Our Nottingham Forest fans here in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a tense weekend when it arrives as the Championship relegation battle approaches the final round of games.
Indeed, Forest are one of the sides threatened by the drop into League 1 – something scarcely believable if you consider the immense history the Tricky Trees have behind them.
Even so, that won’t be what gets them over the line this weekend with it being the players who will have to dig in and get a result the Forest fans will all be eager to see.
Ahead of the game, too, Matty Cash has shown that he is well aware of the fans at the moment with him promising a young child his boots after the game against Ipswich on Sunday – after the kid’s father reached out on Twitter.
