Many Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been speculating over the past few days as to who will be part of Jurgen Klopp’s long-term plans and who won’t.
One player who looks to be on his way out of Anfield is midfielder Joe Allen, with Leicester City, Southampton and Stoke City preparing to go into battle with each other for the Welshman’s signature, according to Shoot.
Allen is very much a Brendan Rodgers player with the ex-Liverpool boss taking him from Swansea City back in 2012 and it doesn’t look as though the 25-year-old is fancied by new boss Klopp.
One Reds punter who is happily tapping away on his smartphone whilst he drinks his pint thinks Allen is a good enough player for the three club’s he has been linked with, but does feel that his days as a Liverpool player are numbered in the wake of Rodgers’ departure.
