Many Leicester City fans have had their say on a clip rehashed from 17 years ago of the Foxes overcoming Middlesbrough 3-0.
While, of course, it was a strong performance from the East Midlands side, it was Darren Eadie’s celebration which got the most recognition.
While wheeling off in jubilation after slotting Leicester’s third, he approaches a similarly delighted Robbie Savage, but a slip of sorts sees Eadie’s head bundle into Savage’s, dropping the Welshman in the process.
Needless to say Savage was back-up in a flash – perhaps a lot quicker than if an opposition player did that – and back celebrating with his teammate.
On the day at the Riverside, Muzzy Izzet opened the scoring with a penalty, Trevor Benjamin added with a really strong header, and Eadie, of course, finished the route.
The Foxes finished the 00/01 season in 13th place, one place above Middlesbrough.
