Many Leicester City fans have responded on Twitter to the news that the club will be making a change to reduce single-use plastics at the King Power.
The club announced via Twitter yesterday that they will be introducing reusable pint cups at games from November 9 onwards so that less plastic is wasted.

The new cups available will be used on all concourse areas, with special recycle bins being all around the stadium for supporters to dispose of so that their cups can be washed and then used again after each match.
LCFC.com states that in total, the club will receive 10,000 reusable pint cups – covering nearly a third of the stadium’s 32,300 capacity.
The article goes on to say that it is estimated that 3.2 tonnes of plastic will be prevented from polluting the environment during the 2019/20 season.
This is not the only change the club has made to reduce single-use plastics at the club. Sauce sachets have been replaced with bottles, plastic straws have been removed and plastic forks and knives have been replaced with wooden ones.
Many Leicester fans were happy to hear about the news and expressed their delight by replying to the club’s tweet about the move.
