Leicester City fans have given their love on Twitter to Caglar Soyuncu after the club account tweeted a video of the defender in action on Saturday.
The video shows Caglar recover from a through ball to Josh King, matching the Norwegian striker for pace before nicking the ball from him just before the byline. The Turkish centre half then wins a foul to fully eradicate the danger.
Leicester have gotten off to a great start in the Premier League and currently sit in the Champions League spaces. Soyuncu, only 23, has started every match for them – and they are yet to lose.
He was bought by the club in 2018 summer window for a sum reported to be around £19m. Not a bad bit of business considering that Leicester were not forced to overspend on a centre-back this summer after selling Harry Maguire for £80m.
Leicester fans can’t get enough of the 23-year-old at the moment, and that was shown in the fans’ responses to the video.
