Many Leicester City fans have shared their opinions after Leicestershire Live tweeted a story saying that James Maddison is being tipped to join Manchester United in January.
Tweeting from the website’s LCFC account, the outlet tweeted the story suggesting that United could be in for Maddison this coming window.
There’s no surprise to see that the midfielder is attracting such interest. After 11 games this season, he has been a vital component of their success, scoring four goals and registering two assists.
According to WhoScored’s algorithm, the England international has an average rating of 7.67/10 from his 11 matches, which is the second-highest in the Leicester squad, with only Wilfred Ndidi having better. In fact, out of the entire division, he has the fourth-best average rating.
Many Leicester fans did not fathom the possibility of Maddison leaving the Foxes in January after such a good start this season. Some fans think that the club simply won’t sell as they don’t need to, and others just think it would be a step backwards for the player.
