Many Leicester City fans have responded to a video posted by the club showing Wilfred Ndidi losing the ball and regaining it.
The video was posted from the Foxes’ impressive 2-1 win versus Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power, which saw the club reach third in the Premier League after their first six matches.
Wilfred Ndidi put in another consistent performance, scoring a 6.9 on WhoScored, to slightly lower his overall average for the season to a still impressive 7.22 – the third-highest in the squad.
In the video posted from the club account, you can see Ndidi get dispossessed as he slips over the ball, but the Nigerian international is rapidly on his feet to tackle it back off Son Heung-min and then pop a short pass to Ricardo Pereira who could then recycle possession.
It’s starting to make sense why Brendan Rodgers left Celtic for this club now, with 22-year-old Ndidi being just one of many fantastic young players at the squad.
