According to ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain have locked their sights on landing a deal for Wilfred Ndidi this summer, and Leicester fans are not happy.
The French giants are reportedly on the hunt for a new central midfielder and have been eyeing up the 23-year-old’s services. Others including Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Tiemoue Bakayoko of Monaco are also on PSG’s radar for this summer’s business.
Ndidi has made a total of 130 appearances for the Foxes after making the move from Genk in 2017 for £15 million (via BBC Sport). The Nigerian has tallied eight goals and seven assists during his time with Leicester and has operated both in midfield and in the centre-back position (via Transfermarkt).
The links between Ndidi and PSG have not been a welcome piece of news for Foxes fans, who are desperate for him to stay at the club this summer. A reported £45m-£50m asking price is on the midfielder’s head, to which a supporter has demanded PSG must ‘add another £100m’ to if they want to sign the ‘top class’ player.
