Quoted by The Leicester Mercury, Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has said that he cannot explain the form the club find themselves in at the moment with our resident Foxes fans also feeling a bit confused.
After they infamously won the Premier League last season by ten points, they’ve so far have not reached that form and are in the bottom half of the table.
In stark contrast, though, they are on a three-game winning streak in their first season of the Champions League and look set to reach the knockout stages.
As a result, many propping up the bar to wonder why they can’t carry that form into domestic engagements with their away form particularly letting them down.
“I don’t really know why our form has been up and down”, said Morgan.
”We try every game and, for some reason, we feel at home we can get the result. We just need to find a way to improve our away results. I am sure when we get that first away win and performance we will carry on and keep improving.”
The Foxes won last time out in the Premier League at home to Crystal Palace and travel to Tottenham this weekend before flying out to Denmark to face FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.
