According to The Daily Star, Christian Fuchs has said that he wants to finish his career playing in the MLS in the United States, leaving our local Foxes fans nervous that he may soon be leaving the club.
The Austrian international has become a real fan favourite with his performances at left-back for the club, especially after they won the title last season.
In fact, he scored his first goal for the club at the weekend with a superb left-footed volley against Crystal Palace.
…Much to the delight of the Foxes propping up the bar.
He penned signed a one-year extension to his contract at the King Power recently, but the report says that he will go to the States soon to link up with his family.
His wife and children reportedly live in the Big Apple and a move to the MLS is understood to currently be his long-term plan.
Signed under Nigel Pearson, the former Schalke man was a revelation last term, emerging as one of the most formidable defenders in the Premier League,
“Everyone loves Christian but we do understand that he wants to be nearer his family, anyone would”, said one fan in the Tavern.
”We only hope we get to see more good things from him before he goes and he’ll always be welcome back.”
Will you be sad to see him go Leicester fans? Let us know below…
