As the fate of Ben Chilwell continues to attract speculation, Leicester fans are debating over what the future holds for the left-back and whether it’s away from the King Power Stadium.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are planning a summer swoop for the 23-year-old as Frank Lampard looks to bolster his defence ahead of next season. The Blues boss is reportedly planning an overhaul of his options in the left-back position, including Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmeiri who is on both Juventus’ and Napoli’s radar (via Goal).
If Lampard is to heighten his interest in Chilwell, the Foxes are said to be demanding a £50million asking price for the England international.
Leicester fans have been debating over whether Brendan Rodgers should hang onto the academy graduate or not, with opinions very much divided on Twitter. Several supporters are adamant the club should keep Chilwell, but one has said ‘every player has a price tag’:
