Leicester City: Some fans believe Foxes can win second PL title after impressive Arsenal win

What a performance Leicester put in against Arsenal on Saturday night! Their 2-0 win brought back memories of the title-winning team of 2015/16, and who can blame their fans for dreaming of winning it again. They’ve now won their last four games since the last-gasp defeat at Anfield and Brendan Rodgers’ side are playing like real title contenders.

They’re averaging 14 shots per game (per WhoScored) and are the second top scorers in the league, on 29, behind Manchester City. They’ve also got the tightest defence in the league, having conceded just eight goals so far this term, so their fans might not actually be jumping the gun after their clean sheet against Arsenal, and they could genuinely have a battle with Liverpool and Man City on their hands.

The club’s official Twitter account posted the full-time score with the caption “Things you love to see”, and many fans took to the replies to dream about a season back in the Champions League. Some supporters were even daring to mention the possibility of that second Premier League title.
