Leicester fans take to Twitter to call for Puel’s exit

Leicester City fans everywhere have been left fuming as they fell to a shocking 3-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, a game that has seen calls for Claude Puel’s exit. It wasn’t that they were outclassed, in fact, it was quite the opposite, as they couldn’t find the net despite their dominance, which has caused frustrations.

The Foxes had a whopping 20 shots at Wembley, with nine of those on target, as they came so close to toppling high-flying Tottenham. However, it simply wasn’t to be for the Foxes as they were undone by a clever set-piece, a piece of Christian Eriksen magic and a swiftly executed counter-attack from Heung-Min Son, and could only reply with a whisper as Jamie Vardy bundled home in the second half.

It was one of those games from the Foxes where they just never looked like scoring despite the fact they managed to dominate and create chance after chance. It was again a reason for the fans to call for Puel to leave, and it’s not the first result to frustrate the fans. Losses to Cardiff, Southampton and Newport County have also caused outrage and it would be a shock if Puel survives until the start of next season.

I don’t rate Puel, I don’t like how he has no interaction with his players or us fans and his selection baffles me but there is no way we deserved to lose today

How many more chances is Puel going to get until we are in the bottom 3! Very tired of us now loosing every week it’s soul destroying for the fans … I’m not saying that we have to win every week but be nice to now and again …
