An infuriating window for Tottenham Hotspur has led to some of the tavern’s fans to cause outrage as both Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino receive criticism for their lack of ambition at the club.
Regardless of money spent, the manager has been on the end of plentiful of positive feedback after fully trusting some of the youth academy’s graduates since his appointment, especially English talent.
The first-team was overwhelmingly comfortable for the visit to Newcastle United as their opening fixture and the debutant, Kyle Walker-Peters, slotted perfectly to replace the £50 million exit with a very similar name.
That has, however, made our Spurs-supporting bar man furious that the club hasn’t spent any of that money from player sales and a title challenge this season is completely out of the question.
Saying that, there’s still over a week of potential business to be completed before the window slams shut so Pochettino does have room to make one or two signings prior to deadline day.

Mauricio Pochettino desperately needs a reliable, back-up option to Harry Kane, who has a track record of frequent injuries, and the inconsistency of Vincent Jansson isn’t enough to take the Englishman’s space.
That is why fans by the bar have suggested Tottenham Hotspur dive into the Bundesliga market to snap up RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, whose recent domestic performances has been him earn a call-up to the Germany national team.
Werner stunned the tavern last campaign with his 21 goals for Leipzig as he helped guide the controversial German outfit to Champions League football in their first ever season in the country’s top-flight.
This is certainly a deal that would benefit Spurs in the long-term but there isn’t much time left of the window so it’s a deal they have to wrap up pretty soon if the club are wanting to secure his signature.

The sudden outbreak of Danny Rose’s dissatisfaction in north London has led to speculation that a number of Pochettino’s players are unhappy at the club, and the England international is potentially heading out the door this window.
That means Tottenham Hotspur have to get their act together and make swift progression to replace him, leading to a potential deal for Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand.
Since departing Chelsea in 2015, the 28 year-old has heavily impressed in a Saints shirt and fans in the tavern have suggested he is the most like-for-like replacement to slot into Rose’s position in the starting eleven.
