The Reds have had a good start to the season, and buoyed by a number of big money signings, supporters in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a real title challenge this term.
One player that has generated a lot of excitement is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Having moved to Anfield from Arsenal, the pressure is certainly on the Englishman to make an impact, though most fans are optimistic.
A relatively poor performance for England against Slovakia on Monday night has done little to reduce the pressure on his shoulders. He disappointed for his country, and that has left the Arsenal fans in the pub laughing at our resident Reds.
However, it appears as though optimism is still ringing true at Anfield, and whilst he hasn’t been at his best, most supporters appear confident that the Ox will turn it around.
Indeed, the Liverpool fans on Twitter have pointed towards a lack of confidence and the fact that Jurgen Klopp has yet to work his magic as reasons why the 24-year-old is struggling.
