Wayne Rooney divides opinion more than often.
Captain of both Manchester United and England, the country’s record goal scorer is criticised on an almost weekly basis these days.
Though he remains an important fixture in the first-team at both levels, his actual impact at the top level is seemingly constantly questioned.
Now, reports from the Sun suggesting the Red Devils are considering SELLING the 30-year-old this summer have sparked debate within the Transfer Tavern.
While he hasn’t always proved to the most popular, the notion of an Old Trafford without Rooney is a hard thing for some of our punters to envisage.
Still, others believe selling the forward/midfielder/whatever he is these days is the only thing left to do in order to complete their blockbuster transformation.
Whether or not he leaves next summer remains to be seen, though it certainly has sparked debate on Twitter.
That being said, here are the SIX best reactions to Rooney’s potential sale.
