The 34-year-old said that he was “already thinking” about the Premier League and was excited about the upcoming Merseyside Derby against arch-rivals Everton on Saturday at Anfield.

This follows on from the fact that Alisson Becker was missing from Thursday’s training session as the Reds aim to right the wrongs of their recent domestic slump.
Adrian, who earns £55k-per-week on Merseyside, has been heavily criticised for some of his performances during the 2020/21 campaign, having averaged a match rating of just 5.01 from two Premier League games this season.
