Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are less excited about the whole Klopp appointment, after the German boss oversaw three draws, and has so far failed to secure a victory for his new side.
However, the news from French publication L’Equipe has caught the attention of the resident Liverpool supporting punters over by the pool table, with the media outlet claiming that Liverpool sent scouts to watch talented PSG duo, Christopher Nkunku and Lamine Ba, in action.
Liverpool supporters here in the Tavern don’t really know what to make of all this, with every single one of them admitting they’ve never heard of the pair – but, they all remain confident in Klopp’s judgement.
Nkunku, 17, is an attacking midfielder, whilst Ba, 18, is a central defender.
Steve, a hardcore Reds fan enjoying a game of darts here in the Tavern, voiced his opinion on Klopp and potential inbound transfers in January: “It would be fantastic if Klopp could raid his former club Dortmund, if we could somehow secure a deal for Marco Reus, we would undoubtedly be a top four contender, without a doubt!”
Our landlord feels that Klopp needs to rejuvenate the squad somewhat, and agrees with the Liverpool faithful about raiding Dortmund!
