The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that Jurgen Klopp looks to his old club Borussia Dortmund and brings some of their star players to Anfield.
According to a report by The Express, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a top target for Liverpool ahead of the January transfer window.
Liverpool are keen to sign the prolific striker, who is considered to be one of the world’s best, after recent reports suggest that he could move on from Borussia Dortmund.
The Gabon international has netted an impressive tally of seventeen goals in nineteen games for the Bundesliga giants so far this season, adding to his reputation as a deadly forward.
Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Aubemeyang but Liverpool are considering a move with Daniel Sturridge’s future at the club looking uncertain.
The England international wants to move away from Anfield to improve his chances of making Gareth Southgate’s squad for next summer’s World Cup.
With Roberto Firmino usually preferred to him up front, Sturridge could move to AC Milan in January and try his luck in Serie A.
If Sturridge does move away, Klopp will be forced into the transfer market to add competition for places up front with Divock Origi out on loan and Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke on the fringes.
