Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing about one player after his display against Porto

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are still on cloud nine after their side’s fantastic performance in the Champions League on Wednesday. The Reds dominated their Portuguese opposition, with Porto standing no chance against the ruthless Reds.

Indeed, Jurgen Klopp’s men put in a simply faultless display. Everyone from the defence, through to the midfield, and up to the attack all delivered with their performances – and that hasn’t been a very regular thing for Liverpool this season.

They’ve been characterised by inconsistency this season, but there was no sign of that on Wednesday.

Indeed, even one of Liverpool’s more disappointing players for much of the season – Sadio Mane – put in a good showing. He hasn’t, by any means, been poor this season – but he set the standards so high last season, and he hasn’t quite been able to reach those levels yet.

However, even he was in fine form against Porto. He was arguably the best player on the pitch, scoring three of Liverpool’s five goals.

He’s a popular man amongst the Reds in the Transfer Tavern, and it’s a similar tale over on Twitter. Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to discuss the Senegalese attacker’s performance, and they’re all saying the exact same thing – he’s back!

They’re clearly hoping that he will continue to impress for the rest of the season. Certainly, if he can perform half as well over the next few weeks as he did last night, Liverpool will be on to a winner.
