Liverpool: Fans are convinced that Pep Guardiola will start Ederson despite picking up minor injury

Liverpool supporters have been calling out Pep Guardiola’s ‘mind games’ after Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was substituted at half-time during their 1-1 draw against Atalanta in the Champions League.

The Reds host the Citizens in the Premier League on Sunday and find themselves top of the standings, six points clear of Guardiola’s side.

After the match at the San Siro, the Spanish manager said that it was a “muscular problem” and that he did not want to take any risks so brought him off. He added that he was not sure if he would start at Anfield.

The Brazilian shot-stopper was replaced by the second-choice keeper Claudio Bravo, who was sent off for a sliding challenge on Atalanta’s Josip Ilicic outside the box, meaning Kyle Walker had to go in goal for the rest of the game.

Supporters did not believe the quotes from the Manchester City manager and are certain that Ederson will lineup in between the sticks at Anfield on Sunday.
