Liverpool managed to escape with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday, despite not being at their best (via BBC Sport).
The Reds went behind in the first half and it took them until the 85th minute to equalise, with Adam Lallana coming off the bench to level the scores.
It was a result which meant that Liverpool put a six-point gap at the top of the table between themselves and second-placed Manchester City (BBC Sport), but the performance has been questioned by many fans.
One player who has been targeted for criticism after the result is Jordan Henderson, with many feeling that he doesn’t offer enough creativity to the team.
The England international is the Liverpool captain and has been a regular for Jurgen Klopp this season, starting in six of their nine Premier League matches to date (via Transfermarkt).
However, the 29-year-old has failed to provide a single goal or assist so far (Transfermarkt), and when Naby Keita came on he managed to produce just four fewer passes than Henderson at Old Trafford, despite the England man playing 63 minutes more (@PremierLeaguePanel).
As a result, several Liverpool fans now want to see Henderson dropped from the starting 11 for future games in favour of one of their more attack-minded midfield players.
Here is what some had to say…
Really think Henderson needs a couple games out n recharge his batteries, ran round like a headless chicken yesterday and offered pretty much nothing, time for Naby to step up and show what he is capable of #LFC

Hate having a go at players when we are champions of europe and top of the league but Jordan henderson is a passenger in this team. #LFC Chamberlain or Kieta should be playing in front of him…

Dont you dare start Henderson ever again

First of all we must make sure that Henderson is starting on the bench

Can make sure of this by dropping him for starters

Think yesterday showed we really need one of Keita or Oxlade-Chamberlain starting in midfield.
They both changed the game when they came on and we looked so much better, while Henderson has looked out of form for a while.
I’d be tempted to go Fabinho, Keita and Ox on Wednesday.

He was excellent at the tail end of last season, but he’s stuttered the last few matches. Now that Keita is match fit again, it’s time for Klopp to give him a shout.
