Liverpool fans can’t believe how good Milner has been so far

James Milner was at it again at Wembley Stadium when he won the man of the match award for his input in the 2-1 win over Tottenham. The ageing midfielder has been at the top of his game for Jurgen Klopp’s side and after reaching the 100 appearance milestone for the club he’s going from strength to strength.

Milner has turned into a pivotal player for Klopp’s side. His battling midfield performances have been superb and his ability to win the ball back and recycle it quickly is so important to the way that his side play. The club is famed for their amazing front three at the moment but without the likes of Milner behind them, they would have no one to feed their talented attacking lineup.

The 32-year-old is fast becoming a fan favourite at Anfield and everyone seems to love him more everytime he takes to the football pitch. He showed his experience yesterday against Tottenham and despite the fact the London club seemed determined to shoot themselves in the foot, Milner kept his intensity up and didn’t let the Lilywhites play out as they like to do.
