Liverpool: Fans can’t get enough of Alisson Becker after fantastic moment vs Norwich

Lots of Liverpool fans are drooling over a 10-second clip from their win over Norwich on Saturday, as the club shared some footage of Alisson Becker’s superb distribution.

Liverpool’s £81m-rated (Transfermarkt) goalkeeper is having a ridiculously good season, leading the Premier League in clean sheets despite only playing 18 times due to injury and suspension. The 27 year-old’s numbers this season are scarcely believable, outperforming his expected goals against by 90% and saving a remarkable 87% of the shots on target he has faced.

Looking beyond his shot-stopping abilities though, both he and compatriot Ederson Moraes have formed quite the reputation for their ability to become part of their side’s build-up play, triggering fast counter-attacks and genuine goalscoring opportunities with their kicking and throwing. This was on full display against Norwich, as the Reds official Twitter account shared a short clip showing off Alisson’s vision with the ball.
