Liverpool fans have been giving credit to Melwood graduate Curtis Jones after making his Premier League debut during his side’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth on Saturday.
The 18-year-old got his first taste of top-flight football in England as Jurgen Klopp continued to rotate his squad due to their congested fixture schedule in December.
Jones replaced Andy Robertson with 14 minutes left on the clock and fans caught a glimpse of what the local lad could do for the Reds.
The Englishman is typically a central midfielder and possesses the versatility to be able to play on both wings and even in the number ten role.

He completed all 15 passes that he attempted and almost scored a spectacular goal on his first appearance after a well-connected volley from Xherdan Shaqiri went over the bar, illustrating astonishing levels of maturity.
Supporters were delighted to see Jones make his first senior outing and made their feelings clear about the iconic moment for the youngster.
