Many Liverpool fans showed their displeasure towards manager Jurgen Klopp following an article that was published regarding young midfielder Leighton Clarkson.
The 19-year-old made his first-team debut for the Reds during his side’s 1-1 draw against FC Midtjylland during their final Champions League Group Stage match, where Liverpool had already qualified for the Last 16.

Following the game, The Athletic revealed that Clarkson has been given the nickname of “Philipp Lahm” in training, having hugely impressed Klopp and the coaching staff in Kirkby.
Clarkson spends the majority of his time playing for Barry Lewtas’ U23s team, and has scored once and provided two assists from five appearances in the Premier League 2 (TransferMarkt).

Baring this in mind, supporters were not happy with Klopp, as they felt that immense pressure was being placed on his shoulders before his Anfield career has properly got going.
Fans not impressed with Klopp
Very unhelpful to nickname him. He is so young and it is unfair on him and the name tag will stay with him especially if he falters. Remember the Welsh Xavi !
