Liverpool have reportedly ‘moved ahead’ of Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Thiago Alcantara this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo (relayed via @AnfieldEdition), the Reds are ‘very likely’ to finalise a move for the Bayern Munich midfielder.

The Merseyside outfit have been linked to the Brazilian for many months now, with much uncertainty surrounding whether the deal will go through. However, Liverpool now seem to be viewed as favourites, according to the Spanish outlet.
Liverpool supporters have already expressed their burning desire to bring Thiago to Anfield, with his contributions in midfield clearly impressing the fanbase.
Kopites have again started speculations over whether the transfer will happen, with some eager to see him join, but others have now given up on seeing him in Liverpool red.

One fan has commented on the recent update saying they are ‘on my knees’ for the club to sign him, whilst another has branded Thiago ‘Nabil Fekir 2.0’ after a move for the Frenchman collapsed at the last hurdle in 2018.
