Liverpool fans have got excited over the prospect of breaking another record during their sensational 2019/20 campaign.

The Reds extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 16 points on Sunday after overcoming Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield, thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah either side of half-time. Jurgen Klopp’s side broke the record for claiming the most points over the first 21 games, which Liverpool managed to achieve with 61 (according to Liverpool Echo) and have the opportunity to equal 11 more, as per Football 365. However, James Pearce of The Athletic revealed yet another accolade that the Merseysiders could reach this season.
