Liverpool: Fans excited by Jurgen Klopp’s transfer plans

Liverpool fans have reacted in jubilation after manager Jurgen Klopp hinted that the club is “always ready” to bring in players in January.

The German manager responded to a question during his press conference about Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola’s comments on how he is not planning on adding to his squad next month.

His side have had an almost perfect start to the season and sit top of the Premier League, eight points clear of Leicester City with 40 points from their first 14 Premier League games.

During December, the Reds have nine games in all competitions and will need to travel to Qatar to play in the Club World Cup after winning the Champions League last season.

Klopp says #LFC are “pretty much always ready if we can try to do something” in the January transfer window. Which means if the right target is available, the money is there to sign him.

With Fabinho, Joel Matip and Nathaniel Clyne all injured, Klopp hinted that bringing in players is not out of the question.

Klopp said, “I am not here to speak about the Man City transfer window. It’s not important, for us it’s always the same, we don’t speak about it, we’re pretty much always ready.”
