A number of Liverpool supporters have been left fuming after it emerged the Reds aren’t planning to directly replace Gini Wijnaldum this summer.
The next transfer window could be a relatively busy one at Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp looking to bring fresh blood into his squad after an up and down season.
Not only that, but some current Liverpool players will likely be heading the other way, having been deemed surplus to requirements.

One player who is definitely moving on is Wijnaldum, with the Dutchman playing his last game for the Reds last month, prior to joining Barcelona.
The 30-year-old has been an influential part of Liverpool’s midfield for five years and was rarely ever injured – he played 237 games in red, racking up over 18,000 minutes of action and missing just 11 games to illness or injury during that time.
Claims made by the Independent last week report that the Reds aren’t planning on replacing him, however, with Klopp seemingly happy with his options in the middle of the park.
