Loads of Liverpool fans are going crazy over an update from The Athletic’s James Pearce, as he confirmed Jordan Henderson is set to return to full training this weekend.
The Reds got back on track against Bournemouth courtesy of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, but the performance was far from perfect yet again. James Milner’s incredible goal-line clearance prevented more dropped points, and Jurgen Klopp will not be impressed with some of the slow and turgid passing on show in the second half.
Whether or not the recent blip is down to Jordan Henderson’s absence remains to be seen, and we may find out on Wednesday after Pearce confirmed the Liverpool skipper is set to take part in full first-team training at Melwood on Sunday.
