Liverpool: Fans hail Harvey Elliott goal for Blackburn

Plenty of Liverpool fans have been hailing the latest goal that Harvey Elliott has scored for Blackburn Rovers while he has been out on loan from Jurgen Klopp’s side.

As shared in a video clip by Redmen Report, the England U19 international curled a beautiful left-footed effort into the far top corner of the net from just inside of the box, leaving the Millwall goalkeeper with absolutely no chance of saving it.

That put the Lancashire club 1-0 up on the night in a game which they eventually won 2-1.

That is now two goals and three assists for Elliott in 10 matches in England’s second division so far in the 2020/21 term (Transfermarkt), a record which is very impressive for a 17-year-old.

Liverpool fan reaction to Elliott goal

These members of the Anfield faithful hailed the goal from Elliott on Twitter, with one Red claiming that the winger has ‘been as good as Bellingham’, another 17-year-old making an impact – one who earned his first senior England cap earlier this month. Another Kopite branded him as ‘the next Sancho’, another Englishman who has broken through at one of the top clubs in the world; Borussia Dortmund:
