Liverpool fans have been heaping praise on Alisson Becker after he picked up the Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d’Or, which represents the best goalkeeper in the world.
The Brazilian has been an influential figure since joining the club from Roma for £67m and played a key role in helping the Reds win the Champions League and accumulating 97 points in the Premier League last season.

The award he received was named after the legendary Russian shot-stopper Lev Yashin, who was the only goalkeeper to win the France football gong.

Alisson went on to win the Copa America with Brazil after playing every minute during the South American tournament, recording five clean sheets and conceding just one goal.
Supporters offered their congratulations to the Brazilian star as he walked away with another individual award after winning the Champions League goalkeeper of the season and Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper prizes.
