Liverpool fans heaped praise on manager Jurgen Klopp after he described himself as the “luckiest man alive” to be part of the Merseysiders.
The German tactician spoke of his gratitude to be managing the Reds after winning this third trophy since he took the reins in 2015.
Klopp managed to guide the Reds to an intercontinental treble after winning the Champions League in Madrid, the Super Cup in Istanbul and the Club World Cup in Doha.
This was almost topped with a Premier League title. An enthralling title race last season saw the Reds miss out to Manchester City by just one point, despite accumulating an unbelievable 97 points in the process.

Klopp told Goal that he will never forget what happened in Madrid, and said that he still get goosebumps thinking about the Champions League homecoming in Liverpool the day after.
