Loads of Liverpool fans have made their feelings clear on social media towards ex-Red Philippe Coutinho despite him preaching glowingly about his former side.
The Brazil international moved to Barcelona for £142m in January 2018 after five years at the club. However, he has failed to live up to the high expectations that came with his big-money transfer and has since been loaned out to Bayern Munich.
Coutinho told Sports Illustrated that he was not surprised with how well Liverpool have been playing because of the fantastic squad and the manager. However, he added that he doesn’t look back and has no regrets about leaving the club, despite losing the Champions League semi-final against his former side last season as the Reds went on to win their sixth European crown.

With this in mind, many Liverpool supporters were not as sympathetic. One fan said that he doesn’t want him anywhere near the club and added that he is “history in my books”.
