Some Liverpool fans have already fallen in love with the club’s new signing Ibrahima Konate following a brilliant social media post from the centre-back.
The Reds agreed a deal for the Frenchman at the end of May, bringing him in from RB Leipzig after some impressive performances for the Bundesliga outfit.
Liverpool suffered a horrendous season in the centre-back department last time around, so the hope is that Konate helps alleviate that issue from the off in 2021/22.
At 22, he looks a player of immense promise and he could end up being a genuine force at Anfield as the year pass and Virgil van Dijk drifts past his peak. Indeed, he has even won glowing comparisons to the imperious Dutch defender, with whom he may forge a sturdy partnership in the coming months.

On Thursday, Konate posted a superb video on Twitter, showing him presenting his new Liverpool kit to his childhood friends.
