His crossing was way off as the Reds couldn’t conjure up any glaring opportunities from the wide areas. Because of how far Alexander-Arnold was pushing forward, the visitors were looking dangerous in and around the box on the counter-attack.

Once again, supporters were beginning to grow increasingly annoyed with the local lad, with some suggesting that he should be dropped for Sunday’s trip to Old Trafford.
