It looks a lot like Wilfried Zaha will be on the move this summer as Crystal Palace can no longer hold down their star man. The Premier League’s top six will have been put on high alert after it became clear that the Ivorian could be allowed to leave for £80 million this summer, but Liverpool fans aren’t interested in signing the tricky forward.

The poll included in the tweet above may have painted this one as Liverpool fans wanting Zaha, but delve into the replies to the tweet and a lot of the fans are desperately calling against a swoop for the Manchester United flop. The Reds have got Mo Salah and Sadio Mane as their current wide-men so there is little room for the £80 million winger anyway, especially if The Daily Mail’s reported fee is right.
Zaha would be a quality asset to any side in world football, but at Liverpool, it’s hard to see a way in which the Ivorian would start every single week. The front three that Jurgen Klopp uses at Anfield are settled and even if Zaha did join the chances are he wouldn’t be too pleased having to sit on the bench, especially if was to sign for what would be a club-record fee.

The Kopites can’t understand why they’d swoop for Zaha and even though he’s a quality player there’s no point signing him if he won’t play.
