Liverpool fans on Twitter argue that their main man is better than Chelsea star

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been arguing the case that Mohamed Salah is a better player than Chelsea’s Belgian sensation, Eden Hazard, as stats show Salah’s scored more goals this season than Hazard has in his last three. The stat is bound to cause debate among Chelsea and Liverpool fans as they argue over which of the two Premier League stars is better.

A couple of years ago you’d have been laughed at for suggesting that Mo Salah is a better player than Eden Hazard. Now though, Mo Salah has established himself as on the Premier League’s and the world’s most dangerous players, scoring an incredible 43 goals in all competitions for The Reds this season, most recently bagging two against Roma in Tuesday night’s Champions League semi-final match.

Despite the obvious difference in the influence of the two players this season, the debate still rolls on, as Chelsea fans will argue that the Egyptian needs to recreate his form over more than just a season to be in the same bracket as Hazard. Salah and Hazard shared a dressing room at Chelsea for a short spell, before the Liverpool man was deemed surplus to requirements and offloaded to Roma in summer 2016. Almost two years later and he’s an established goalscorer, in the Premier League and in Europe, as Liverpool sit two wins away from Champions League glory.

It's a good stat BUT I think both players are great in their own right. I've always liked Hazard as a player, probably in the tier just below Messi and Ronaldo. If Salah replicates this season again and again then I'd say he might be up there with Messi + Roanldo
